Baku-APA. A total of eight people were killed in two separate suicide car bomb attacks in Fallujah city in the western Iraqi province of Anbar on Monday, APA reports quoting sputniknews.com.
The city of Fallujah was once a Daesh stronghold and was liberated by Iraqi troops earlier this year. Daesh is a terrorist group that is outlawed in many countries including the United States and Russia. "Eight people were killed as a result of the two blasts that took place today. The first one targeted a Fallujah police department and the second took place in an area controlled by the Anbar's emergency regiment near the bridge of Mustafa al-Athari," the source said.
