Baku-APA. A landslide hit a mine in the southeastern province of Siirt on Thursday, reportedly trapping 14 workers underground, APA reports quotinh Turkish media.
Ambulances rushed to the scene. No casualties have been reported yet.
Local sources stated that construction equipment were also stranded underground along with the workers.
Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) has implemented a crisis management desk for the incident.
