Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. A commander of the Islamic State terrorist group (IS also known as ISIL, ISIS, Daesh) has been killed in Iran, APA cited Iran’s Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi as saying on Tuesday.
He said Abu Aisha al-Kurdi attempted to enter Iran to carry out a provocation but was killed in a special operation.
The minister said despite the difficulties, government agencies are succeeding in capturing members of the terrorist organization and preventing suicide plans.
