"The attacks occurred at a time when negotiations on Iran's nuclear program were intensifying. With the June 13 strikes, the Netanyahu government aimed to disrupt the negotiation process. Instead of peacefully coexisting with an independent Palestinian state whose capital is East Jerusalem, Israel is trying to spread war throughout the entire region," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during his speech at the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers held in Istanbul, APA reports.
Erdoğan declared that they will not allow the reestablishment of the Sykes-Picot order (an agreement between Britain and France to divide spheres of influence in the Middle Eastern territories under the Ottoman Empire).
The Turkish leader once again called on countries that have influence over Israel and added that the region cannot endure another war.
“We must continue our coordinated efforts to take mandatory measures against Israel,” Erdoğan emphasized.
