The Turkish President also thanked the friendly and brotherly nations that supported them that night: “On that night, prayers were recited for us in Baku and in other parts of our spiritual geography. It became clear once again that Türkiye is greater than just Türkiye. That night, our people wrote a glorious epic. The scheme set up by the leader of the FETO terrorist organization failed in the face of our heroic people’s resistance. On July 15, the people’s struggle stopped not only a treacherous coup attempt, but also an invasion.”
