Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has commented on the disarmament of the PKK terrorist group on his “X” social media account, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
The post reads:
“I hope that today’s important step will be beneficial for our goal of a Türkiye free from terrorism. May God grant us success on this path for the security of our country, the peace of our nation, and lasting peace in our region.”
Note that a group of PKK terrorists disarmed today in Iraq’s Sulaymaniyah region.
As part of the disarmament process, 30 PKK terrorists, including 4 commanders, burned their weapons.
