"A landmark project that can serve as an example not only for Türkiye but for the world is rising in the area where the Azerbaijan neighborhood is located," Murat Kurum, Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, said during his visit to the Azerbaijan neighborhood, APA reports.
He stated that the district, set to be inaugurated on June 19 with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, will become one of the symbols of the reconstruction era that followed the disaster of the century: ““We are implementing this project together with our dear brother Azerbaijan. The project includes not only residential buildings but also parks, kindergartens, green spaces, workplaces, and a Culture Center, whose foundation will be laid tomorrow, which will amaze everyone who sees it. The construction of the school for children, equipped with the latest technological innovations, has already been completed and classes have even started. Tomorrow, both heads of state will present the final report cards to our students.”
