"Increasing resistance power of Azerbaijan and Türkiye is no longer an option, but a necessity," said Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
According to him, at the current stage, the increasing risks and threats at both the global and regional levels require higher resistance and coordination from states:
"The scale and impact of risks and threats at the global and regional levels are increasing day by day. In such a situation, it is not just a choice for our countries, which are strategically located, to be comprehensively strong and increase their resistance capabilities - it is a necessity."
