The Masood side: At least 300 Taliban fighters were killed

Rebel leader Ahmed Masood, who is giving a tough fight to Taliban militants in Afghanistan, has said that he is ready for both talks and war with the terrorist organization.

Masood has made this announcement at a time when Taliban militants have sent thousands of their fighters to attack the valley of Panjshir.

The Masood side claims they have surrounded the Taliban and killed more than 300 fighters: "Taliban ambushed in Andarab of Baghlan province. At least 300 Taliban fighters were killed. The group is lead by Ahmed Masood."

“We want to make the Taliban realize that the only way forward is through dialogue,” Ahmed Masood, son of Ahmed Shah Masood, known as the ‘lion of Panjshir’, told Reuters in a phone call.

To defeat the Taliban, Ahmed Masood has raised an army of his, which is made up of the Afghan army, special forces and local fighters. Ahmed Masood said, ‘We do not want the war to start.’
