Rosatom: Construction of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant gradually resuming

Construction of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is gradually resuming, said Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev, APA reports.

According to the information, Likhachev said that about 2,200 workers have returned to the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant and work at the facility is gradually reviving.

“The main work at the under-construction second power unit is focused on reinforcement installation and concrete works,” he said.

Likhachev noted that Rosatom enterprises continue the planned production of equipment for the new power units.

Note that after the start of the war, Rosatom evacuated more than 600 Russian citizens working at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant to Russia via Armenia.
