Qatar has not allowed the United States to use its territory for strikes against Iran and uses its weapons solely for self-defense, Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed al-Khulaifi said it in an interview with Al Jazeera, APA reports.
"No. Qatar has a very clear position on this issue," the diplomat said, responding to a journalist's direct question about whether Qatar had authorized attacks from its territory during the current conflict with Iran. "Qatar has never attacked and will never attack a neighboring state. For us, this is a matter of principle," the state minister noted.
