Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for accepting the evacuation of Pakistani nationals from Iran ina post on his X account, APA reports.
The post reads:
"Heartfelt thanks to the Leadership and Government of Azerbaijan for welcoming Pakistani nationals, including the elderly, women, and children, coming from Iran. I would also like to express sincere gratitude to my brother Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Foreign Office for extending speedy assistance, and to all the government officials of Azerbaijan at the Astara border crossing during this challenging time. PIA flight will be bringing today these 125 persons to Pakistan from Azerbaijan, InshaAllah!"
He noted that a plane departing from Baku today carried 125 Pakistani nationals onboard.
