Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei is alive, said Yousif Pezeshkian, the son of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, APA reports, citing ISNA.
Yousif Pezeshkian said he had heard reports about Mojtaba Khamenei being injured and contacted people close to him.
He noted that Mojtaba Khamenei is safe and sound and has no health problems.
Earlier international media reported that Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei had been injured in airstrikes by the United States and Israel.
