Before the US airstrikes, most of the uranium stored at the Fordow nuclear enrichment facility was moved elsewhere, APA reports citing Reuters.
This step was taken against the backdrop of increasing tensions between Iran and the United States in recent days.
No information was provided on where the uranium in Fordow was transported.
A senior Iranian official also told Reuters that most of the uranium stored at the Fordow nuclear enrichment facility had been moved to another location before the US airstrikes. The facility's staff were also evacuated before the airstrike, it said.
