Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit New Delhi next week and meet with India’s National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, two anonymous sources informed Reuters about visit, APA reports.
The sources noted that the parties will discuss disputed areas along the border region.
Additionally, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to travel to China at the end of this month to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
This will mark the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to China in the past seven years.
