Israeli Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen criticized UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, APA reports.
After Guterres condemned Israel’s attacks on Syria, Eli Cohen responded on his social media account.
"The hypocritical Guterres, who is concerned about Hamas terrorists, allows militants in Syria to commit massacres against the Druze community. We will not remain indifferent to the killing of our Druze brothers in Syria while your failed organization supports terrorism," Eli Cohen wrote in a post on his X account.
Note that the armed conflict between the Druze and government forces in the Sweida region of Syria ended with a ceasefire, and government forces left the region.
