The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out strikes overnight on dozens of targets in multi-story buildings used by Hezbollah in the southern areas of Beirut, the Israeli Air Force said in a social media post, APA reports.
According to the information, the targets hit include the headquarters of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, operational centers, and a warehouse where drones were stored.
"The IDF conducted a broad-scale wave of 26 strikes in the Dahiyeh area of Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure. Among the targets were an executive council’s command center and a facility storing UAVs used for attacks against Israel. Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians," the statement said.
Before the operations, the IDF issued evacuation warnings for four main neighborhoods in the southern areas, in the Dahiyeh district where Hezbollah is entrenched.
