“We will not allow Iran to acquire either nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles,” said Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces, APA reports.
He emphasized that while Israel targets only military facilities without exception, Iran targets civilian sites:
“We launched the military operation precisely for this reason. We cannot allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. This poses an existential threat to Israel. Therefore, all necessary steps will be taken to eliminate the current threat.”
