The Navy Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has stated that safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be maintained if what it described as US threats are addressed, Mehr news agency reports.
In a post published on its X account, the IRGC Navy Command Center thanked captains and shipowners in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman for complying with Iran’s Strait of Hormuz regulations and contributing to maritime security in the region.
In another statement released on Wednesday, the IRGC Navy said that, with “threats neutralized” and new protocols implemented, safe and stable passage through the Strait of Hormuz would be ensured.
