Iranian and Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministers hold telephone talk

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart Farhan bin Faisal al-Saud, Iranian Foreign Ministry released a statement on this, APA reports.

It was reported that the Saudi minister expressed condolences to the Iranian side over the deaths of military commanders and other Iranian citizens, and also strongly condemned the Israeli attacks.

Iran's top diplomat thanked Saudi Arabia for its position and explained that the US side was behind Israel's steps:

"This aggression would not have been possible without the coordination and green light of the US. The US side also bears responsibility for the dangerous consequences of this action," the Iranian minister said.

He said that his country is a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and called on the IAEA to condemn this step by the Israeli side.
