A telephone conversation took place between Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
Araghchi emphasized that no route should hinder Iran’s access to other transit corridors.
The Iranian minister noted that his country welcomes the steps taken towards peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, but stressed that Iran is against any geopolitical changes in the region.
Mirzoyan stated that Armenia-Iran relations are based on friendship and good neighborliness, and declared that Yerevan considers its relations with Tehran a priority issue.
