Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran’s deputy minister of foreign affairs for education and research, says his country is within its right to respond to US attacks against its nuclear facilities as it sees fit, APA reports citing Al Jazeera.
Speaking to Al Jazeera from Tehran, Khatibzadeh did not dismiss the possibility of Iranian strikes against US military bases in the region.
“Iran will decide on how, when and at which level to respond to [the] Americans,” he said.
The minister described the US bombing of nuclear sites such as Fordow as a “grave mistake” that was in breach of international law.
