A telephone conversation has taken place between the foreign ministers of Iran and Armenia, APA reports, citing Tasnim.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran is in a state of large-scale war with the United States and Israel.
He said that in response to the attack, Iran targeted Israel and US military bases in the region and is ready to defend itself for as long as necessary.
Araghchi also declared that revenge would be taken for Iran’s killed leaders.
Mirzoyan expressed condolences over the deaths of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, as well as several Iranian citizens.
He also stated that Armenia is ready to provide any necessary humanitarian assistance.
Mirzoyan emphasized that he hopes the current situation will be resolved through diplomacy.
