Israel has carried out its deepest air strike against Iran, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, APA reports.
It was noted that the Israeli Air Force conducted a large-scale operation in Iran.
Several waves of attacks were carried out as part of the operation, hitting more than 150 targets and more than 400 components. More than 70 warplanes, including missiles, struck more than 50 targets in the skies over Tehran at night.
"Israeli pilots conducted a 2.5-hour free flight over Tehran and conducted large-scale operations around the city. According to the Defense Forces, this is the deepest strike Israel has ever carried out against Iran. The air superiority achieved is aimed at preventing future threats," the statement said.
