“There is no need to pursue regime change in Iran,” Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a joint press conference with his German counterpart Johann David Wadephul, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The minister noted that Türkiye shares the same view with Germany on this issue.
According to him, consultations with other European countries in this direction could also contribute to the peace process.
Hakan Fidan added that just as the attack on Iran is unlawful, Iran’s attack on Gulf countries is also a wrong step.
“We have conveyed this to Iran as well. However, all these wrong decisions must stop, and the button for a ceasefire and peace must be pressed,” Hakan Fidan said.
