All NATO countries showed support for Türkiye after a ballistic missile fired from Iran toward Türkiye was neutralized, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a joint press conference with his German counterpart Johann David Wadephul, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The minister stressed the importance of collective defense against ballistic missiles.
“In this regard, Türkiye has received the necessary commitments from other NATO countries. In particular, the Ministry of National Defense is conducting coordination efforts on this issue. After Türkiye neutralized the missile in its airspace, almost all NATO foreign ministers contacted me. They conveyed messages of unity and solidarity,” he said.
