With the warming of the weather in the summer months, the nightmare returned. Forest fires broke out across Türkiye. While the fight against the flames continues, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı announced the latest situation.
Minister Yumaklı, who appeared before the cameras in Hatay, shared the encouraging news. Yumaklı stated, "The fires in Izmir, Manisa, and Hatay are partially under control. Cooling efforts are ongoing. The wind speed has exceeded 67 km."
The forest fire that broke out in the Sütçüler district of Isparta has been brought under control. A fire broke out in the forested area of the Yaylabel village Yaka Neighborhood for an undetermined reason. The fire grew rapidly due to the wind's effect. Upon notification, Isparta Regional Directorate of Forestry, AFAD, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. Initially, 2 helicopters, 20 water tankers, 4 fire trucks, and many workers intervened in the fire. The villages of Yukarı Yaylabel, Yaka, and Ayanaç, which were close to the flames, were evacuated as a precaution. The fire that broke out in the area near residential areas has been brought under control.
