11 people have been arrested in connection with a fire that broke out in a residential complex in Hong Kong, APA reports, citing Reuters.
The report noted that only 39 of the 128 people who died in the fire have been identified.
It should be recalled that on November 26, at noon, a major fire broke out in a residential complex consisting of eight buildings and approximately 2,000 apartments in the Tai Po district of Hong Kong, one of the most densely populated and high-rise cities in China, which is home to the world's most tall buildings.
It was reported that the fire started in bamboo mats used to renew the facade of the buildings and spread rapidly due to the influence of strong winds.
The fire was extinguished two days later.
