Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. In reaction to the military intervention by Saudi Armed Forces in Bahrain, Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Saudi ambassador and expressed the country’s concern and objection to such an unacceptable act, APA reports quoting “IRNA”. Foreign Ministry’s Director General for the Persian Gulf and Middle East Affairs Hossein Amir-Abollahiyan conveying his displeasure with the Saudi army’s action said what is going on in Bahrain is the peaceful expression of demands by people from their administration. He added that the Saudi government was expected to deal in a responsible and logical manner. According to Abdollahiyan the intervention of the Saudi military force not only will not solve the issue but on the contrary will further complicate the events. The act of Saudi forces will turn Bahrain’s internal problem into a regional crisis, the Iranian official pointed out. For his part, the Saudi ambassador said he will promptly inform the Saudi administration of Iran’s stand.
