Officials say 6 killed in 2 Iraq bombings

Baku – APA. Officials say four people have been killed by a car bomb that exploded outside a restaurant in eastern Iraq, APA reports quoting “Associated Pressâ€.
The 5 p.m. blast also wounded 29 in the city of Baqouba, about 35 miles (56 kilometers) northeast of the capital, said Maj. Ghalib al-Karkhi, the police spokesman for Diyala province.
The casualties were confirmed by a medic at Baqouba hospital who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to brief the media.
Earlier, another bomb on Baghdad’s western outskirts, killed a policeman and an Iraqi soldier as they were trying to diffuse it.
Police and hospital officials said two other policemen were injured in the suburban Abu Ghraib explosion.
