Tehranâ€™s general prosecutor: â€œWe will not pardon Rafsanjaniâ€™s sonâ€

The provocateurs should know that they will be strongly charged not depending on their personalityâ€, said Tehranâ€™s general prosecutor Abbas Jafari Doulatabadi, APA reports quoting FARS news agency. He said those who committed provocations during the presidential elections in Iran, including Iranian former president Hashemi Rafsanjaniâ€™s son Mehdi Hashemi would be brought to responsibility despite they were abroad. The general prosecutor said they had documents about 100 people who violated public order gathering outside the opposition leader Mehdi Karroubiâ€™s home.

Tehranâ€™s prosecutor launched criminal investigation against Mehdi Rafsanjani accusing him in misappropriation of the public property and joining the opposition in its anti-government actions in 2009.
