Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev - APA. Delegation led by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad paid a visit to Damascus, Syria, on Thursday morning. President Ahmadinejad’s visit is taking place at the invitation of Bashar al-Assad, his Syrian counterpart.
The Iranian president is going to discuss with top Syrian officials issues related to mutual ties as well as regional and international developments during his two-day stay in the country.
