Most of the protesters in Los Angeles are pro-violence, and US President Donald Trump defends the right to peaceful demonstration, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said, APA reports.
Making a statement regarding the events taking place in the city, Leavitt said that a large number of protesters were detained during the events.
"These attacks have targeted not only law enforcement officers, but also US culture and society. Rioters have burned US flags, but President Trump will never allow mob rule in the United States," she said.
