The United States seeks to discuss with Russia not only the issue of frozen Russian assets but also the impact on American companies if the conflict in Ukraine is resolved, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Breitbart News in an interview, APA reports.
"The president’s talked about that there are opportunities to work together. And obviously that's going to entail talking about not just Russian assets that have been seized by America, by the Europeans or the US, but also American companies that have been hurt. So that'll have to be brought a part of a broader conversation about how to reset our relations," he said.
Rubio emphasized that such talks cannot begin until a sustainable ceasefire is achieved in Ukraine.
