The U.S. Department of State has responded to reports that US President Donald Trump’s administration presented proposals to Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the opening of communications in the South Caucasus, APA reports in response to Armenpress's inquiry.

The State Department stated that the United States supports efforts aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

However, the Department also declared that they have no information regarding such proposals.
