United States believes there has been progress in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, but the most difficult issues remain to be resolved, said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a meeting with reporters at the State Department, APA reports.
"It's not about forcing everyone to make a deal, but about understanding what both sides expect to gain and what they're willing to give up, and how we can ensure that these [positions] align. Of course, this takes a lot of time and hard work. This can't be achieved through the media and press conferences. I think there's been progress, but we still have work to do. Obviously, the hardest questions remain at the end," he said.
