The US and Iran have scheduled new talks, US President Donald Trump wrote on X, APA reports.
"We have scheduled Iran talks. They want to talk. They took a big drubbing, I think, when we hit the three sites," he wrote.
Note that planned US–Iran nuclear talks in June were abruptly canceled after Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, prompting Tehran to suspend dialogue. Despite heightened tensions, both sides exchanged proposals and held indirect communications. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has since expressed willingness to resume talks if security guarantees are provided.
