US President Donald Trump, during a speech at the White House on November 17 has announced that by the end of 2025, the volume of investments attracted to the country's economy could exceed $20-21 trillion, APA reports citing BBC.
According to Trump, over $17 trillion has been invested in the United States in the last nine months alone, and this figure has now reached "almost $18 trillion."
"By the end of the year, approximately $20-21 trillion will be invested in our country. This is ten times more than the largest investment ever made in any country. The main reason for this is the tariffs that we have imposed," Trump emphasized.
Recall that Trump also stated in September: the imposed customs duties will allow the United States to attract more than $17 trillion in investment this year.
