Pfizer executive Angela Lukin said on Thursday that the company expects to price a single dose of its COVID-19 vaccine at around $110 to $130 after the federal government's program expires early next year, APA reports citing Teletrader.
However, Lukin noted that the vaccine will still be available with no co-pay for Americans with private or government-paid insurance.
The US government currently pays $30 per vaccine dose to Pfizer and BioNTech to provide the jab for free to its citizens. However, the costs are set to be transferred to private insurance after the program expires.
