Google LLC has approved the distribution of Donald Trump's social media app Truth Social in its Play Store, APA reports citing Axios.
The two companies have been in close contact over fixing violations of Play Store's policies since August 19, when the initial approval request was denied. This marks a considerable success for Trump's app as about 50% of smartphone users in the United States use Google Play Store to download and use apps.
Truth Social committed to banning speech that incites violence for the agreement to go through, the report added. The app was previously made available for downloading and use on Samsung Galaxy Store.
