The new US plan for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine includes the lifting of sanctions against Russia, APA reports citing Bloomberg.
According to him, Washington's proposal envisages the lifting of anti-Russian restrictions, as well as demands for Kyiv to make territorial concessions and limit the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the publication notes, "received signals from the US that he should accept the deal." The American delegation in Kyiv, led by US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll, has already met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyy.
