Despite attempts of Nancy Pelosi, draft resolution on so-called â€œArmenian genocideâ€ hadnâ€™t been sent to US House of Representatives

Remind that, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi offered discussion of the draft resolution on â€œArmenian genocideâ€ within 48 hours. But it seems that the draft will not be put to discussion at the House of Representative within the time offered by Pelosi.

Nevertheless, the House of Representatives will operate some more days in the beginning of the weekend â€“ until New Year. That is why so-called Armenian genocide and draft resolution are not considered to submit to the House.

Currently, both Turkish embassy in the US and Turkish, Azerbaijani organizations in this country act jointly with the US leadership and Congress in the direction of impeding adoption of this resolution.

At the same time, Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) focused on advantages and disadvantages of lengthening of working period of the Congress. President of the Turkish Coalition of America G. Lincoln McCurdy said that adoption of this resolution might damage Turkish-US relations.
