Hosni Mubarak Sentenced To Life Imprisonment

APA reports quoting AFP and Reuters that Mubarak arrived in court in a stretcher to hear the verdict on June 2 after being flown by helicopter to the police academy where his trial is being held. Egypt’s former Interior Mminister Habib al-Adly was also sentenced to life in prison for his role in the killings.
Egyptian state television is broadcasting the verdict live. Some 5,000 policemen and 2,000 soldiers have been deployed in and around the venue.
