Baku’s Yasamal district court resumed on Friday the trial on the criminal case of Giyas Ibrahimov and his father Hasan Ibrahimov.
A public prosecutor made a speech at the trial, asking the court to sentence each of the defendants to six months in prison.
Giyas Ibrahimov and his father are accused of contempt of court.
Earlier, Giyas Ibrahimov was jailed for 10 years by the verdict of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. He is charged under articles 234.4.1 (illegal production, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their precursors by a group of persons previously at one or by an organized group) and 234.4.3 (the same acts when committed on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
