Funds for Youth Houses in Azerbaijan’s districts should be increased, MP Shahin Ismayilov said addressing a discussion of the draft state budget for 2018 at parliament’s meeting on Wednesday, APA reports.
He noted that Youth Houses play a key role in the implementation of youth policy in districts.
The MP went on to say that 20 more Youth Houses will be transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports next year.
Ismayilov called on the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education to help create business incubators in educational instutions in the country.
“In the modern period, business incubators and startup projects make a great contribution to the economy and bring multimillion-dollar revenues. There are very professional, educated young people in Azerbaijan. If this issue is approached systemically, projects of a global scale can be presented in the future,” he added.
The MP also suggested monitoring the content and quality of education in private kindergartens.
