“As expected, the weather in Azerbaijan is abnormally hot due to the influx of hot air masses from the south and south-east. The maximum temperature rose to 41 degrees in Baku and Absheron peninsula”, Director of National Hydrometeorology Department Bureau of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told APA.
According to her, the temperature was 42 degrees in Aran regions of the Republic and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: “Hot weather will continue in the next two days, high temperature will be observed. Therefore, our recommendation to the population is to be in more shady place”.
