Phase III trials of Turkey's first local TURKOVAC vaccine will be carried out in Hungary, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Turkish Health Minister Fakhraddin Goja said this in a statement after the next meeting of the Science Institute established under the ministry as part of measures to combat COVID-19, APA's local bureau reports.
The Minister said that several additional countries are planned to be included in the list: “Negotiations are underway. 40,800 people will be employed in 29 centers.
It should be noted that the TURKOVAC vaccine was administered to 294 volunteers in the first and second phases.
