Hazelnut kernels imported from England found to be unfit for consumption

The Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (FSA) continues to control food imports into the country, FSA told APA.

Within the framework of carried out monitoring measures, the Agency's inspectors inspected the product of roasted hazelnut kernels produced by Kanegrade Ltd Ingredients House and imported to our country by AzFP CO LTD LLC. As a result of inspections, it was found that the amount of mold and yeast in the batch of products exceeded the norm. It was determined that the imported product did not meet the requirements of technical normative legal acts and was unfit for consumption.
