The 3rd Industrial Safety Summit will be held in Baku on December 10, jointly organised by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA), the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.

It was noted that the event, which will be organized with the concept message "Turning Point", will bring together influential representatives of the state and private sectors and will serve as a strategic platform for discussing new approaches, innovations and global practices formed against the backdrop of industrial safety, technological innovations, climate change and social transformations.

At the Industrial Safety Summit, it is planned to sign a trilateral memorandum of cooperation of great importance in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and environmental protection between the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA). Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will work together on safety standards, ISO management systems and ESG principles.

The event will consist of a “Red Line” panel, a “Safe Talks” discussion, and an “HSE Awards” ceremony. The program will also be held in three main sessions with the participation of 10 speakers and 2 moderators.

In the “Red Line” panel, experts will discuss the high-risk areas created by the application of technology and artificial intelligence in industrial safety, the cases in which technology cannot replace the human factor, and the opportunities created by artificial intelligence.

The “Safe Talks” session will be presented live for the first time as a continuation of AISA’s educational podcast series in the field of industrial safety, occupational health and environmental protection. Interactive discussions with the participation of a special guest will contribute to the formation of a safety culture.

The “HSE Awards” ceremony will honour organisations and individuals who have distinguished themselves in health, safety and environmental practices across different industry sectors. These awards serve to promote an approach to excellence in the field of HSE and to highlight safer, more sustainable business solutions.
