According to the approved relocation plan, a total of 228 families are planned to be resettled in Khojaly city, Karkijahan settlement, and Malibayli village, as well as Umudlu village of Aghdara region, Elchin Yusubov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts during scientific-practical conference on "Role of Education and Law Enforcement Measures in Strengthening the Environment" held in Khankandi, APA reports.
He stated that 50 families have already been relocated to the city of Khojaly, and in the near future, another 50 families will be resettled: "To date, 20 families have been relocated to the Talish village in Aghdara district, and plans are in place to relocate 190 families to the town of Sugovushan in September and October of this year. In the coming years, this number will increase multiple times."
